Email blender

Paul Maine has launched this wicked mini-site called EmailBlender.com. It takes whatever you type and mixes the letters up to make anagrams of the original words, you can then send your friends an email and see if they can figure it out.
The results are pretty funny!
Don’t worry if they can’t work it out though, as it can tell them the original message too…

Hallway Nearly Done

As the days draw longer we seem to have less and less time to do any DIY, although we don’t do loads on a night it all adds up, however we can’t do much at all any more due to the shortage of daylight hours. It was dark by yhe time I arrived home last night. To make matters worse the clock go back soon (next weekend or maybe the one after?) so we have even less light.
We did get a lot done at the weekend, we finished stripping and painting the skirting boards and door frames and got some wallpaper up.
This coming weekend we’ll finish the wallpapering and maybe even choose a colour for the walls :-) We’re just using lining paper you see, so that we can paint on top and have nice smooth walls.

Getting there….

UK Fuel Price Finder

I don’t know about you but I’m getting quite cheesed off with the price of petrol these days, and I don’t mean the sharp spike of last month but the general trend.
Well I’ve come across a great website by Overdrive (the fuel card people) that shows you the prices at the their garages, it usually saves me about 3 or 5p per litre, all you do is enter your postcode or region:
Overdrive Fuel Pricing Information.

Google has just launched a new service called Reader, it’s for reading and managing your RSS news. If you don’t know what that is, RSS enables you to keep updated on news from site that support it without actually visiting the site themselves.
This site supports RSS of course, to get the feeds click on the RSS 2.0 link on the left hand side menu (near the bottom) then copy and paste the link into your favourite RSS reader (because you don’t have to use Googles version, I use infoRSS for firebox).
To try out Google Reader you might like to take the tour:Explore Google Reader
