Well this is my blog, I use it to write about what’s happening in my life. Current themes are my kit car project, rock climbing and various computer related subjects.
I was looking for electric cars and came across the Wrightspeed X1, it’s a car based on an Ariel Atom kit car. The Atom seems like a good choice for an electric car as it has a a very low mass however I’m not sure how many cars they’ll sell as the Atom is really a track only car.

It’s a great concept and I hope that Wrightspeed do well from this and that we’ll see the car in the UK.
Of course it crossed my mind that this would be a great trick for a GTM Libra too…!
Good point! I can’t see any electric car generating the speed required for a true track experience. Being as it’s not road legal, there doesn’t appear to be much point in this.
