1800 engine steady
From GTM Workshop
The 1800 P.G. 1 gearbox requires a different engine steady to the standard gearbox. This new engine steady mounts directly to the aluminium sump on the 1800 engine through existing mounting holes. The engine steady rod mounts forward as in the standard car but on the driver's side of the car.
Assembly
Mount the engine steady bracket to the sump of the 1800 engine on the four tapped holes provided. Mount the engine steady rod to this bracket with the long 12mm diameter bolt provided. With the rear bodywork on the GTM Libra position the exhaust pipe in the central position and mark the position of the three retaining bolts on the front of the engine steady bar within the recess on the body-work. Drill these holes 6mm clearance and bolt up with three 6mm diameter bolts and backing plate.
