GTM Workshop:Using Infobox Carinfo

This article is to be used as a guide to the template Template:Infobox_Carinfo. This is the information box that appears on the righthand side of some members pages, and there is an example on the right of this page.

If you wish to use this template on your page then you will (hopefully) find this guide useful.

Step 1

Copy and paste the text below into your document, usually near the top:

  image     = |
  owner     = |
  make      = |
  model     = |
  colour    = |
  started   = |
  completed = |
  engine    = |
  modifications = |
}}

Step 2

For each of the parameters (eg "owner") you can fill in the appropriate informationbetween the "=" and "|". If you don't want to fill in a parameter then you don't need to edit that line. For example:

owner = Tony Tiger|

Step 3

Well actually that's it! Preview your new page to make sure it appears properly and then save it. If you feeling like taking it further you can also make some of the text into links, for example GTM could be GTM (it now links to the article called GTM).
