Bleeding
The system is a diagonally split dual type, means the vehicle can still be stopped safely should one of the systems fail. Consequently the brake bleed order is as follows:
- Left-hand rear
- Right-hand front
- Right-hand rear
- Left-hand front
Bleeding Kits
There are several types on kit available that make it easier to bleed your brakes. Three main types are used:
- One way valve kit
- Connects to the bleed nipple and prevents the intake of air when releasing the brake pedal
- Pressure kit
- Connects to the reservoir and pushes fluid through the system when the nipple is opened
- Vacuum kit
Brake Fluid
The type used is DOT 4
