ETB Speedo Calibration

Libras and Spyders were fitted with ETB speedos.
The following guide steps through the calibration procedure.

Calibration Modes
Automatic Mode
Drive a measured distance (either 1 mile or km) and the dial will count the number of pulses over that distance.
Pulse Mode
Enter directly the number of pulses per mile (or km).
Adjust Mode
Drive at a known speed (on a rolling road) the enter the corresponding speed.
Entering Calibration Mode
- Turn off the ignition
- Push and hold the button on the dial
- Turn on the ignition
- Release the button when the right mode flashes up
- AUtOCL - Auto calibration mode
- PULSE - Pulse mode
- AdJUSt - Adjust mode
Calibration Procedure
Automatic Mode
- Drive to the start of the measured distance. Turn the ignition off and then on to select AUtOCL mode
- The display will change to bUttOn
- Press the button and start to drive the measured distance at a constant speed
- The display will now show StArt
- At the end of the measured distance press the button once again
- The number of pulses recorded is now shown
- The dial will then return to normal operation mode
